About this Project

Problem: After receiving feedback from new teachers and reviewing the needed documents for TKES (Fulton County Schools Evaluation System), there was a lot of misunderstanding of what Tier 1 Instructional strategies were. Through one-on-one's with administrators, they noted even those most seasoned professionals needed a helping reminder.

Solution: I created this short video on Tier I Instructional Strategies to help new teachers understand the basic Instructional Strategies. This was then shared school-wide in the weekly newsletter to provide additional support for veteran teachers in the buildling.

About this project

Problem: After sending out aa survey to new teachers to find out trouble spots for the end of the year; and collecting data from veteran teachers through out the building, there was a large percentage of teachers having a difficult time keeping up with late-work; as district policy this school year (2021-2022) stated that students could turn in late work at anytime, without penalty.

Solution: During my data collection I did find a few teachers that were getting in right and had implemented a system. In this quick training, I provided example's from these teachers along with actionable steps to create a system of their own.

About this project

Problem: The use of AI; students are using it and data showed that teachers are not using it. 1. Because they don't see the use of it in a school setting 2. They just don't like it because of the rumors of "replacing jobs

Soluton: Professional development teaching teachers what AI is and showing how it can be used to make out day-to-day lives easier. Bonus co-pilot helps to keep educators FERPA compliant because of it's security protocols.
